Interlibrary Connect

Interlibrary Connect is a loaning system between Small BC Libraries. Through this catalogue you can access the collections of these small libraries. This includes books, DVDs, ebooks, audiobooks etc.

  1. Search the catalogue, with key words – spell the author or book name correctly – or it may not show up.
  2. Select the ‘format’ you are searching for – if you do not select a format all books, DVDs, e-books, audiobooks etc. will show up.
  3. Make sure the library drop down is set to BC Interlibrary Connect on the right hand side of the search bar. Then you will see all the items available in the region.
  4. Browse through and find the items you want
  5. Click “place a hold.”  The item will be shipped here for you.

BC OneCard

If you’re on the road and find yourself in another BC public library, you can easily borrow items. The best part is that you can return these items to any other BC public library, so if you’re traveling through BC, it’s easy to drop items off as you go. This is a service provided called BC OneCard.

For more information on how to do this, check our BC OneCard page (please note that borrowing policies may vary slightly between various libraries).
