Summer Reading Club: CRACK THE CASE!

Join the B.C. Summer Reading Club as we “Crack the Case” this summer!

The Lillooet Public Library invites all children ages 6 to 12 to join the 2021 BC Summer Reading Club. The theme this year is “Crack the Case” and we will explore a variety of topics through action-packed weekly sessions. The program is COVID-19 safe and will be held on the Rec Centre field. Sessions will include stories, crafts, and games! New books are also in at the library, so we will spend lots of time exploring those too!

At the summer reading club we help children maintain and grow their reading skills! Children will receive a bookmark and a fun reading record to keep track of their summer reading. We will also have guest speakers participating in weekly activities to help foster healthy community connections. At the end of the summer there will be a celebration day where the children will receive prizes for completing their reading records!

This program is free! You can register by emailing this form to summerlibraryclub@gmail.com or by visiting the library in person. The program is held every Wednesday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, starts on July 7th, and runs until August 18th.

For more information you can drop in at the library, phone 250-256-7944, or email summerlibraryclub@gmail.com.
