Summer Reading Club

Summer Reading Club – 2024

The Lillooet Public Library is excited to announce this year’s theme: World of Curiosities!

The Summer Reading Club is a free reading program for children aged 6-12, intended to help them practice and improve their reading skills throughout the summer in a fun and engaging way. We will be hosting weekly sessions, with themed activities, games, stories, and more!

Children will be provided with a reading record, bookmark, and stickers to keep track of their reading over the summer. At the end of the program, we will hold a celebration and awards ceremony where they will receive prizes for participating in the program!

Weekly sessions will be held at the Lillooet REC Centre in the Community Room (203) from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, either on Wednesday or Thursday depending on your registration. The program will run from July 3rd to August 22nd.
