Indigenous Services Canada

Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) partners with First Nations communities to prevent, prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies.

Squamish-Lillooet Regional District

The SLRD Emergency Program works in the four electoral areas to lead and support emergency management activities in the Regional District. Working closely with member municipalities, and under the direction of the Electoral Area Directors Committee and Chief Administrative Officer, the SLRD Emergency Program prepares for, responds to, and helps communities recover from large-scale disasters and emergencies.

Lillooet

Public safety and the well-being of citizens is a crucial function of local government. Local hazards and local hazard warnings must be taken seriously, which is why the District of Lillooet has an Emergency Management Program. The Emergency Management Program is responsible for the direction and control of coordinated response to and recovery from major emergency events or disasters.
 
Lillooet Tribal Council

The Lillooet Tribal Council is one of only a few Nations who has an Emergency Management Coordinator to assist member nations in working with EMBC and other government agencies that are responding to all emergencies and planning and preparing for unplanned events.
